This project was my final from my first photography class. The final project was meant to be based on an earlier project from that year and I chose to try an environmental portrait again, since I didn’t do it completely right then first time. I walked around different parts of campus and went up to a lot of woman and asked them to write on the paper how the governbment putting laws onto our bodies made them feel. I gave no other insruction besdies that and asked to take a portrait of them holding the paper up.
This was my last project from my first photography class and the whole process still felt new to me. I got the idea from the overturning of Roe v. Wade, which was something that really bothered me.I wanted to make a statement for the injustice that have been made against women and combining these elements turned out amazingly.
